The Dell Dimension 2350 is a budget and consumer-oriented desktop from 2002. Dell sold various configurations of these systems ranging from an Intel Celeron to Pentium 4 and the systems support up to 2 GB of DDR SDRAM (1 GB officially). The Dimension 2350 shipped with Windows XP.

== Collection Specifics ==
I bought my Dell Dimension 2350 for $4 from a [https://www.deseretindustries.org/ Deseret Industries] thrift store in Mesa, Arizona because of how cheap it was.

=== Operating System ===
This computer would've originally shipped with Windows XP Home Edition. I don't believe this computer had an operating system installed when I bought it, so I installed Windows XP to use this computer as a retro Windows XP computer.

=== Hardware ===
For some reason, despite having a Pentium 4 sticker on the case, this computer had an Intel Celeron inside, with 512 MB of RAM, and a 30 GB HDD. As I intend to use this computer as a kind of cheap Windows XP gaming PC, I decided to upgrade the hardware inside. For $9 on eBay, I bought a 2 GHz Pentium 4 to replace the Celeron. For $25 on eBay, I bought a PNY GeForce FX 5200, PCI version because this computer's motherboard lacks an AGP slot, which really limits graphics card upgrades for this machine. Finally, for $9 on Amazon, I bought a cheap SATA to IDE adapter to upgrade the 30 GB hard drive to a 1 TB one because I have so many spare SATA drives laying around and it was cheaper than buying an actual IDE drive.
