-According to various sources I found online and an archive of Apple's website from 2007, it would appear this MacBook should've originally shipped with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard since it's the Late 2007 model, not the Mid 2007 one. However, as previously mentioned, the recovery media for this laptop has OS X 10.4.9 Tiger, which was installed when I received the laptop. Since then, I have upgraded it to Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard so that I can get very slightly better software support. I also already have OS X Tiger on my [[iBook G4]], and if necessary, I can always reinstall Tiger since I have the recovery discs. I also could've easily continued upgrading to OS X Lion, but my [[2007 Mac Mini 2,1|2007 Mac Mini]] already runs Lion, so I decided to stick with Snow Leopard.

 I have not done any hardware upgrades to this machine, nor do I currently have any plans to do so. As previously mentioned, someone appears to have upgraded the original 1 GB of RAM to 2 GB at some point, but everything else is stock.
