Collection Specifics
I bought this Dell Optiplex 745 from a White Dove Thrift Shoppe, a Phoenix-area thrift store chain, for $15, sometime in 2019 maybe. This computer is now a part of my Active Directory home network.
Operating System
This computer would've originally shipped with Windows XP, but was also marketed as Windows Vista capable. When I originally bought the computer, it still had an original Dell Windows Vista installation on it. Since then, however, I have reinstalled the operating system a couple of times and upgraded it to Windows 8.1 for now.
Hardware
I believe my specific Optiplex 745 came with the 160 GB preinstalled hard drive. On January 15, 2023, however, I finally upgraded the hard drive to a 120 GB Kingston SSD.
