Collection Specifics
My 3rd generation Apple TV is the original 2012 model that I bought from a Deseret Industries thrift store in Mesa, AZ for $10 in November 2021.
Operating System
Originally, the 3rd generation Apple TV was shipped with Apple TV Software 5.0. Currently, my TV is running Apple TV Software 7.9, released on March 14, 2022, which is the last version supported on this device. The 3rd generation Apple TV does not support tvOS.
