The iPhone SE (Special Edition) is a cheaper iPhone with the body of an older iPhone model, but with modern hardware inside. In the case of the 2nd generation iPhone SE, it basically has the body of the iPhone 8, but most of the internal hardware of the iPhone 11. The 2nd gen iPhone SE had 3 color variants: white, black, and (PRODUCT)RED. The storage options consisted of 64, 128, and 256 GB. All 2nd gen iPhone SEs have a 4.7 in (12 cm) retina HD display at 1334 by 750 resolution and Apple's A13 Bionic chip.

Collection Specifics

My specific iPhone SE is the black-colored, 64 GB variant. This is my first personal smartphone that I pre-ordered in March 2020 and received on the launch day of April 24, 2020.

Operating System

The 2nd gen iPhone SE originally shipped with iOS 13.4. Currently, mine is on the iOS 17 Developer Preview, which was announced on June 5, 2023.
