The Raspberry Pi is a handy mini computer that many people use for various DIY projects, home servers, and many other things. The Raspberry Pi is sold as just the standalone board, but many third parties, such as CanaKit, make cases, kits, and accessories for it. CanaKit has various Raspberry Pi 4 kits for sale, but my kit is the "CanaKit Raspberry Pi 4 Starter MAX Kit." This kit has two variants as well, the only difference being the amount of RAM that is on the Pi. The 4 GB variant is $134.95 and the 8 GB variant is $154.95.

Collection Specifics

My specific kit is the one with 4 GB of memory. I received it as a Christmas gift in 2019. Currently, my Raspberry Pi is used as a server, mostly for Browservice to use with my old computers, as well as a WireGuard VPN server, set up through PiVPN. I used to host a Minecraft server on my Pi and I also used to experiment with hosting a bunch of various things. Now, I host Minecraft servers on my Dell Optiplex 790 server and I don't tend to experiment with random software as much anymore.

Operating System

Standard Raspberry Pi OS is used on my Raspberry Pi. Not much else to say about it.

Hardware

Everything is original from when I received it. Except for the fan, which I replaced because it got unreasonably noisy for some reason. Replacing the fan didn't fix it though, so that's why my picture of the Pi shows it sitting on bubble wrap, off the edge of my desk because that makes the fan noise less irritating.
