The Dell Inspiron 3501 is a mid-range, 15 inch laptop from 2020 that comes with CPU choices ranging from a Core i3 to i5 specifically for the 3501 model and a Celeron to Core i7 in the other 3000 series models, as well as 8 to 32 GB of RAM by stock Dell configurations. It has a 15.6 inch, full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display and comes with Intel UHD Graphics or Intel Iris Xe Graphics depending on the CPU choice.
Collection Specifics
My specific model is the i5 one with 12 GB of RAM. I got it in 2021 to use for school and as my main laptop. It's a very capable laptop; however, don't try running any intensive games because of the onboard Intel graphics. The battery is also not the best. Due to my multitasking, on most days I have to charge my laptop during the school day.
Operating System
Originally, this laptop came with Windows 10 Home, version 1909(?). I upgraded it to Windows 11 Insider Preview builds, similar to my custom built PC.
