The Lumia 735 is a Windows Phone developed by Nokia. The phone was released on September 4, 2014. The phone was released with 8 GB of internal storage and only came in a black color. In May 2015, Microsoft released a Microsoft-branded version of the phone, as opposed to the original Nokia-branded one. This re-release came with 16 GB of internal storage instead of 8 GB.
My Lumia 735 is the original 8 GB model that I bought off eBay for $15 on July 5, 2022.
The Lumia 735 originally shipped with the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and could be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile. Officially, the last Windows 10 Mobile version supported by the Lumia 735 is version 1607; however, it's possible to trick the device into thinking it's a different model and upgrading to the latest version 1709. I have done this on this phone, so it's currently running Windows 10 Mobile, version 1709.
