I was quite surprised to see this thing in the thrift store where I bought it from because I did not know RCA made tablets... or really computer at all to be honest - especially Windows tablets. Anyways, this little 2-in-1 tablet thing was released some time in 2015 I believe as a part of RCA's Cambio tablet series. It sports an Intel Atom processor, a measly 2 GB of RAM, and a 32 GB eMMC drive for storage.
Unfortunately, RCA has stopped using Zendesk for their support system around 2022 or so, resulting in the drivers for this tablet being removed with it. It also seems that RCA has basically stopped supporting this product in general as they have not re-uploaded the drivers anywhere for people to continue downloading them. Unfortunately, the Internet Archive does not have an archive of the now-dead Google Drive links that the Zendesk support article linked to for drivers. Hopefully I don't ever have to reinstall Windows!
Collection Specifics
I found this tablet at a Savers thrift store in Mesa, Arizona for $8 some time in 2021 I think.
Operating System
Originally, this computer likely came with a now-old Windows 10 build from around the time the device was released. Despite the low storage, this device can be updated all the way to Windows 10 version 22H2, which is the final official update it will receive because for some reason RCA preinstalled 32-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 doesn't officially support the hardware anyways.
Hardware
This device is probably very annoying to try and repair or upgrade... and it is functional as it is, so I haven't needed to do anything to it.
